Traditional Natural Drying Method of Russian Abaisk

Step 3. After the first natural drying, cut off the bottom part for freezing.

The Abaisk Farm in Russia produces raw materials through a systematic reindeer production system.

Reindeer can spoil and rot, so the drying process is very important. The reindeer meat cut at the farm is soaked in hot water (about 93°C) for 3 to 4 minutes at a time, more than three times in total, to evenly distribute blood and keep the nutrients intact. After this, it undergoes natural drying for about four months at temperatures between 3 to 25°C. During this process, blood coagulates in the cut parts of the reindeer meat, making moisture evaporation difficult. Therefore, the coagulated blood parts are cut once again to ensure complete drying.

Some farms use artificial hot air drying instead of cutting due to reduced reindeer production and labor shortages. However, this method makes it difficult to fully retain the natural nutrients of the reindeer meat. In contrast, Abaisk Farm preserves the nutrients by carefully cutting even the lowest parts of the meat despite the reduction in production quantity. The company follows a ‘sincere process’ that prioritizes customers over profits during production.

Pyeongang Herbal Research Institute has found the golden ratio blend by which each ingredient is reborn through Gujeonnokyong extraction.

An ideal harmony between imported raw materials from Russia and carefully selected domestic ingredients from all over the country. After countless experiments and research, the golden ratio blend was found and Gujeonnokyong was thus created.

2. No synthetic additives used.

To artificially increase viscosity, no thickeners or various food additives for flavor enhancement are added. Only natural ingredients such as domestic jujubes and honey are used so that consumers can safely and comfortably consume the product. (Types of ingredients vary for each product.)

3. Carefully selected domestic ingredients

Ingredients such as aconite, angelica, astragalus, coptis, peony, licorice, rehmannia, cinnamon, cnidium, paeonia, pinellia, magnolia, balloon flower root, ginger, jujube, red ginseng, omija extract, and honey are used. (Types of ingredients vary for each product.)
