BRAND STORY
Softly melts in your mouth without being hard — Allbarm Snack
“The reason why we first created kids' snacks”
How did we come to make these snacks?
“At first, we thought about our family... now for all children.”
It was around 2013. Our son had a dairy allergy. When switching from breast milk to formula, his mouth would become red and swollen, and he wouldn't eat well. My wife endured feeding formula for 3 years. One day, our parents bought a rice puff snack from the market, and our son was fine eating it. Then we thought, “We should make snacks that our child can safely eat.” We tried making rice cakes at home by soaking rice and drying it on an electric grill. It was very hard to make. After many tries and breakages, we finally succeeded.
We made a large batch and shared it with neighbors who responded positively. We later learned many kids in our apartment complex had allergies like our son. That inspired us to create snacks not only for our child but for many kids to enjoy safely.
So we created it. A healthy snack filled with a father's heart, Allbarm.
Curious about Allbarm snacks?
Q. From how many months can children start eating the snacks?
A. Since children's development varies, it is better to start introducing carbohydrates after starting complementary foods. If no allergies are present, you may give the snack from the first feeding. Please verify allergies to ingredients and introduce gradually. You can also help your child build chewing muscles by exercises like blowing bubbles or biting fingers.
Q. What is the shelf life?
A. Shelf life is 1 year from production for rice puff, long stick, and ball forms. Recently produced ones are shipped.
Q. From when can snacks containing xylitol be eaten?
A. While introducing complementary foods, snacks with no xylitol are recommended for first-time eaters. For kids used to xylitol, gradual exposure is fine once familiar.
Q. How much xylitol is in each snack?
A. Products containing xylitol are sweetened with natural sweeteners like maltitol, allulose, and xylitol in limited amounts. Each snack contains about 6~10g sweetener, roughly 1.5g xylitol per package, safe to consume.
Q. Are the new snacks different from last batch?
A. Due to variations in rice moisture and size, the snack length may slightly differ but remains safe. We continuously research and improve production to maintain consistency.
Q. Snacks get broken, why?
A. Because of light weight and low density, some breaks happen. Weight is consistent but appearance slight variations may occur.
Q. How to store snacks?
A. Keep unopened packs as is. After opening, store in airtight containers, keeping away from moisture. Refrigerate or freeze if opening is prolonged.
Q. When can strawberries be fed?
A. Strawberries can cause allergic reactions; wait until about 10 months of age with gradual introduction and monitoring.
