BRAND STORY
Not hard, melts gently in the mouth - Allbarm Snack
“The reason we first made kids’ snacks”
How did we come to make these snacks?
“Initially thinking of our family... now for all children.”
In 2013, our son had a dairy allergy. When he switched from milk to powdered milk, his mouth turned red and itchy, and he wouldn’t eat well.
My wife struggled for 3 years with milk feeding.
One day, our parents brought puffed snacks from the market for the child, and he was okay with them.
So we thought, “Let's make snacks our child can safely eat.”
We bought rice, soaked it, and made glutinous rice snacks dried on an electric grill.
But making them was really difficult.
They kept breaking and crumbling.
After repeated failures, we finally succeeded.
We made a large amount and shared it with neighbors, who responded positively.
We learned that many children in our apartment complex have dairy allergies or atopy.
At that time, we thought to make snacks that not only our child but all children could enjoy safely.
So, we made it.
Healthy snacks filled with a father’s heart — Allbarm.
Allbarm Snacks - Common Questions
Q. At what age can children start eating the snacks?
A. Since every child’s development differs, snacks can be introduced after starting weaning foods and confirming no carbohydrate allergy.
If unsure, start with soft rice puffs.
Check for allergies to ingredients and start feeding one type of snack at a time.
Babies 8-10 months can hold snacks well with one hand.
Practice with holding and chewing can strengthen muscles and help with picking up food.
Q. What is the product’s shelf life?
A. From the date of manufacture, rice crackers, long sticks, and puff snacks have a shelf life of approximately 1 year.
Recently manufactured products are shipped.
Q. From what age can snacks containing xylitol be given?
A. When starting weaning foods, snacks are new to babies.
Xylitol is not harmful to babies or toddlers.
For children with xylitol allergy, such as a strong sweet taste, avoid feeding.
For children without allergies, start giving xylitol-containing products gradually and gently so they get accustomed to it.
Q. How much xylitol is in one snack?
A. Snacks on the market with xylitol use saccharides or syrup.
At Allbarm, we are the first domestic company to use xylitol for children safely.
The amount of xylitol per snack is about 5 to 10 grams, and each pack contains approximately 1.5 grams, so it is safe to consume.
Q. Is this snack different from last year’s snack?
A. Depending on temperature and humidity, rice moisture content changes slightly.
Snack length or size may vary slightly.
Larger size is not a defect.
The size difference depends on the production season and rice moisture content.
Quality control is ongoing to ensure consistency.
Q. The snack is crushed. Is it normal?
A. Crushed snacks may occur due to different weights in snacks.
Ingredients such as soft rice, glutinous rice, lactose, and butter can cause this.
Although not visually perfect, the quality is fine.
Q. How should the snack be stored?
A. Keep the sealed bag as is without opening.
Once opened, air and moisture can lead to deterioration.
Store in air-tight containers or sealed packaging.
Best to consume within 3-4 days after opening.
Q. When can strawberries be introduced?
A. Strawberries can cause allergic reactions.
Generally, wait 10 months or older to introduce.
Be cautious of reactions when first feeding.
Already tested children can consume safely.
Refer to allergy tests before offering.
