Gamtae, abundant in dietary fiber, calcium, and potassium, is known as a medicinal plant of the sea due to its richness in various minerals and vitamins, attracting many people. However, it can only be cultivated in clean areas with strict growth conditions free from pollution. It is a precious edible product that can be harvested only in some clean tidal flats of the western coast and Jeolla province through 100% natural production.
